You are right. It was my mistake, and I shouldn't post such a thing.

It was my mistake, I possibly hadn't deleted all urls or cleaned url cache etc.
I tested it again and works perfect. So thanks very much for the support.

Thanks that was very helpful information. But this solution also removes the "my-shopping-cart" from the url too, so it is just left as:

www.sitename.com/en

... and even worse, if you go to "account information" inside "my account" then the url becomes:

www.sitename.com/en//billing

so I turned it back to how it was :-)

ok guys I made it so for those with the same problem I did a simple change to the link to the Virtuemart

I changed the link's title from "Online Store" to "Catalogue" and it is perfect now.
.. that's where the component was taking the ..../online-store/... from in the url.

cheers

Hello all,

last night I purchased the ext_joomsef3_virtuemart.zip and works perfect so far although I am new to the component, it all works great.

Only one thing I need, the url right now looks like this:

www.mysitename.com/online-store/product-name

.. but just because I use Virtuemart as a catalogue right now, I need to completely remove the "online-store" part in the url so that it gives the product-name directly like this:

www.mysitename.com/product-name

Thanks for any kind of help, I will appreciate

all the best
