I have tried to create a simple booking system for boats in my yachting club, where I would like to have a system where registered users can book boats in time slots. The booking does not involve any payment, its free for members of the yachting club.

The selection of time slots seems to work fine, but I would like to completely skip the customers selection form, and simply use the Joomla user that is logged in as a registered user, and connect the booking with that user.

Your system seems to have a lot of settings, but I have not been able to find one that simplify checkout and final reservation process step, and use the logged in Joomla user, can you please guide me?

I have used other Joomla extensions that integrates fine with Joomla users (ex. Acymailing, Kunena and JEvents).
