Seem to have sorted this out myself. Toyed with the settings below to get this working. Settings I used may help someone else.

Global Configuration - Technical Config

Cache PDF = YES
Use HTML Tidy (if available) = NO
Image Paths = Absolute
Debug mode = Was yes changed to NO
Font subsetting = YES
Remove Empty Tags = <Empty>

I also have the same problem. Other components such as RSSEO register and check for updates without a problem on this hosting platform.
