The main SobiPro directory page occasionally returns 404 error and it only happens on SobiPro page. After seeing the 404 error, if I refresh the page, the SobiPro page loads up fine.

After five days and I still cannot open a new forum topic here.

Wow is there any support at this forum at all? It's pretty slow for paid plugins.

Just so I might be able to get my hands on the updated version before my one year subscription of the extension expires (2014), I will give you a pointer for a fix as I got my extension to work.

Your extension works only with preset search field parameters of JomSocial.

Whatever field that are not listed here will not work, so I manually added custom fields in order for them to work in my search. Your goal will be to automatically pick up custom fields in this function.

JomSocial extension: 3.1.16

On JomSocial user profile section, there are links that show you other users with the same field value. When these fields have types other than text field (e.g. checkbox, select, etc.), JoomSEF fails to create unique SEF links.

Below are some of the examples:

Working SEF link:
SEF created: jomsocial/field/canada
Old URL: index.php?option=com_community&FIELD_COUNTRY=Canada&task=field&view=search&Itemid=595

Non-Working SEF link
SEF created: jomsocial/field
Old URL: index.php?option=com_community&FIELD_PERSONALTRAITS=Sensitive&task=field&type=checkbox&view=search&Itemid=595

All field links with those field types get the incomplete "jomsocial/field" link, resulting in multiple "jomsocial/field" links.

I'm experiencing the same issue in combination with jquery plugin I'm using on one of the pages.

Not knowing how your paid support works I have submitted a web support ticket as well, but no response.

Do I have to "buy" support in order to get support on my "bought" plugin?

Is there any special character code I need to enter in JoomSEF config in order to solve this?

Using the latest JoomSEF 2.2.6 and SOBI2 plugin 1.0.0, above solution does not seem to be working.

In my case, \"é\" is being converted to \"eacute\"

Has there been any workaround for this?

I have upgraded JoomSEF to 2.2.4 and CB plugin to 1.13 and saw this issue has been resolved.

Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but it was the closest one that seemed to be related to what I've been experiencing.

In CB userlist pagination, let's say I have 5 pages like below:



JoomSEF CB plugin generates URL for this pagination as below:

page2 = /userslist-2
page3 = /userslist-3
page4 = /userslist-4
page5 = /userslist-5
Next = /userslist-2
End = /userslist-5

This all makes sense to me. However, when you move to the next page (page2), the pagination now shows:

Start = /userslist-6
Prev = /userslist-6
page1 = /userslist-6
page2
page3 = /userslist-7
page4 = /userslist-8
page5 = /userslist-9
Next = /userslist-7
End = /userslist-9

I'm sure you can see the problem by now, but by the time I went through all the page navigation, the number at the end of URL went up to -37. In my mind, the plugin should generate /userslist2-5 no matter which page you are in.

Here's some of the relevant settings in my component:

Exclude source info (Itemid) No
Reappend source (Itemid) No
Ignore multiple sources (Itemids) Yes
Append non-SEF variables to URL Yes

I tried switching 'Exclude source info' to 'Yes' but it made no difference.

Is this a known behavior in the component/plugin? or is this rectified in the later release? I haven't tried using JoomSEF 2.2.x and CB plugin 1.1.3 to see this problem goes away, but thought I would check before I do so.

Up to 1.4.3, the page title used to be [sitename.com] - [page title], but as of 1.5.1, the order changed to [page title] - [sitename.com].

Is this change intentional?

I know what you have as the setting (no file suffix) is supposed to work in normal environment. It's working fine with my other sites. The only difference here is that the site is on NetFirm account, which is known for its limited support for htaccess configuration.

Right now, if I enter no suffix (which I want it to be) or index.html, in JoomSEF configuration, JoomSEF does not work and if I enter index.php as file suffix, JoomSEF work. I'm pretty sure this is because of NetFirm and not JoomSEF. I'm trying to see if you have any solutions to get rid of this index.php suffix problem NetFirm configuration is causing.

Or is this something I should directly contact NetFirm about?
