I must be completely missing something. DocMan and Joomdoc.

I want a simple PDF and DOC uploader which allows me to upload and then list the PDF's. These are help documents for a simple cargo portal which I run as a hobby.

This seems perfect for the job and I have seen the screen shots of a control panel. I have uploaded the Module and then what? You can tell it where to display but that's it. No control panel no upload in articles I just cannot work it out for either of them. Is there a manual. Everybody else seems to be able to work it out.

I am on PHP5 with Joomla 1.5.2 / I don't normally get this stuck. Any help appreciated.

Looking at the number of downloads Artio have some great extensions, an easy to follow set of instructions would make joomdoc a pleasure instead of a nightmare.

It would also encourage newbies to upgrade to some of the paid software, searching the forums do not help looking at the length of time it takes to get a reply (if ever).
