The update you posted

"Hello, new version JoomDOC 4.0.2 was released...."

does not work and does not recover the fatal error.

After deleting the original installation of the component (including deleting the database entries) and reinstalling the component it seem to work now.

Same happend for me. Had to revert to Joomla 3.2. Any outlook when the the fix will be available?

Hello, it was fixed. You should upgrade into JoomDOC 4.0.2. If update does not work then reinstall (uninstall + install again).
