I installed JoomDoc Pro (my boss purchased it). It seems to be reading files from the /documents/ directory, since the database is updated, but it won't show me any files in the back-end UI. If it would show me the files, I could create docs, etc.

Any suggestions on where to look?

Hello, according your description I cannot recognise problem.
The best way is send me Joomla root access (additional FTP) and I will investigate it.
