Hi all,

I ran into an issue with an alias menu item.

I've created some sort of subsite (with another template, menu and content).
There is a link from the homepage of the 'parent' site which is an alias to the 'Home' menu item on the subsite. It works great but I want that 'Home' item to be highlighted when active. With JoomSEF I can't get this to work.

If JoomSEF is turned off the <li> is displayed like this:


If JoomSEF is turned on it changes to:


Does anyone the solution to fix this?

There's probably a wrong Itemid being stored with the SEF URL in JoomSEF. Check the Itemid being stored for SEF URL in JoomSEF's URLs Manager and compare it to the Itemid that's present in URL if you disable SEF completely on your website (in Joomla's Global configuration).
