Hello, I need a little help...

I'm using Joomla 2.5 with multilanguage and Joosef 4 for language handling with 2 domains:

www.mydomain.de for german
www.mydomain.com for english

Plugin System language Artio is enabled, joomla system language plugin is disabled.

Everything works fine, but i have in every language the variable ?lang=de or ?lang=en behind the sef-url., for example:

www.mydomain.de/about.html?lang=de
www.mydomain.com/about.html?lang=en

Hoiw can I remove the ?lang item?

Hi,

What component is your about.html URL linking to? What is the Active Handler displayed for that component on the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF?

it's com_content and JoomSef Handler

In that case the ?lang= should not be displayed.

Please check that everything is enabled in JoomSEF's Control Panel in the SEF Status box on the right side.
Then make sure that the System - Language Filter plugin is disabled.
Then check that you have the "Enable JoomSEF language management" option enabled in JoomSEF's Configuration on the Language tab and that you have the domains set up there.

If none of these helps, try deleting the already created SEF URLs through JoomSEF's URLs Manager and clear JoomSEF's and Joomla caches.

All I have done before... :-(

But what should I say now... I did it again and everything is ok now. The only thing I did additionally was to delete the browsers cache...(Mozilla Firefox)

And it runs perfect now... thanks a lot....

If I disable Joomsef and try multi-language with joomla default, everything is ok. But I need joomsef.... Theres no wp-extension in download area for joomsef 4, only for joomsef 3 :-(

And if I enable joomsef without language manager, I canno change between fifferent language domains... :-(
