Hi,
Well it was 2 non-business days from my last message. Anyway we've tested the issue and found a bug in current version of JoomSEF. It will be fixed in next version.

In the meantime, there is a workaround:

1. Open Extensions -> Language Manager -> Content tab
2. Create and configure new content language for your Greek language installed
3. Open Components -> ARTIO JoomSEF -> Configuration -> Language tab
4. Set following configuration:
Enable JoomSef language management: No
Always use language: No
Add language to multilanguage content: No
Get language from browser setting: No
Save language to cookie: No
Main language: Greek
5. Click Save

Then the Greek language should be always used in frontend.

Thanks for your answer.

Your solution did the trick but just to let you know, Greek is default now no matter what a user selects for language. I suppose this will be fixed at the next version. Right?

Thank you again.

Problem not Solved!

Your solution messes up the dates. Some dates are saved with timezone (create date) and some don't (publish date).

I'm using K2.

I reverted back to English and I'm waiting for a proper solution.

Hello,

I have the same problem, but with the dutch language.
Whit joomsef enabled, my website translates all dates from the articles to english instead of dutch.
When i look in the code, the dutch language is gone:
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html lang="" dir="ltr">

When I disable joomsef, evrything works fine in dutch, code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html lang="nl-nl" dir="ltr">

So there's a bug in joomsef language.
Also tried David's solution, but it won't solve the problem.

grtz

Stefan

Hi,
The problem will be fixed in next version of JoomSEF. It should be probably released during this week.

Hi.

I installed the new version. The language change now works but there is still a major problem with timezones.

If I choose the Greek Language as default then all k2 articles' created time goes back 2 hours.
If I choose the English Language as default then all times are shown correctly.

I can't use it like that! I reverted back to English language waiting for another fix!
