TOPIC: JoomSEF and 40 degree portfolio

JoomSEF and 40 degree portfolio 12 years, 1 month ago #28396

Hi I'm using 40 degree portfolio on my website for a while now and do want to keep using it.

Now I installed JoomSEF which I also find very usefull and userfriendly. JoomSEF thus is a component which I also want to keep using.

Problem is however that with JoomSEF installed, the 40 degree portfolio won't work no-more. It just displays plain white where once the portfolio was. But without JoomSEF I can't get my links to be SEF friendly.

I mean the Magic Point Header instead of the 40 degree portfolio

The problem has been solved: it was just a setting that needed to be adjusted.

However, it still only displays on some of my pages. When clicking in a submenu, it doesn't work.

Hi,
Go to JoomSEF -> Configuration -> Advanced (first you need to enable the professional mode on the Basic tab for Advanced tab to be displayed). What is your setting for "Set page base href" option?

"Yes - always use full SEO url"

Now it displays on all pages. But: all URL's, are still like news/news or who-are-we/about-us/who-are-we. I just want it to be domainname.nl/articlename

Using the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF open the extension's parameters and on the Common tab disable the Add menu title option. Don't forget to update your URLs afterwards or delete them and let them recreate automatically.
