I disabled the component in the extension manager! But unfortunately, it didnt help!

Try make/save static 404.html and add row ErrorDocument 404 /404.html to .htaccess ;)

great, a workaround, why did i pay 26€ for a plugin?

Thats what I'm asking myself as well! The support is really poor!

I bought the component alredy for 2 clients and 404 is not working as well!!!!
