Hello everyone,

I have installed JMC & JoomSEF (com_joomsef4-4.1.0) both on fresh Joomla 1.7 and 1.7.1 & I am getting installation error on JoomSEF extension for Joomla Music Collection on both versions, below is the code error

Fatal error: Call to a member function data() on a non-object in /home2/mysite/public_html/demo-pm/plugins/extension/joomsefinstall/joomsefinstall.php on line 53


codes on joomsefinstall.php from line 51 to 61 are

 
	if(count($updates)>0) {
	for($i=0;$ilocation==$xml->updateservers->server->data()) {
	$free=true;
	$freecnt[]=$updates[$i]->update_site_id;
	}
	if($updates[$i]->location!=$xml->updateservers->server->data()) {
	$pay=true;
  }

}
 


It seems like JoomSEF extension for Joomla Music Collection isnt compatible with Joomla 1.7, how do i fix this issue (sorry in advance i am not a php guy)

Hello,

The Music Collection extension is available only for JoomSEF 3. Thank you for your report, we'll update it to JoomSEF 4, but since it is a free extension it is not our number one priority and it may take some time.
If you would like to speed up the process, you could purchase our support time, but let us know in advance so we can estimate the time needed. You could also try contacting the extension's original author, as it was contributed to us by Germinal Camps.

Well the author of this component JMC told me to contact JoomSEF support, now i dont know whom to follow,

By the way do i have to the Paid extension to get premium support on it, or it will be a custom work just for me,

if a custom work for me, how much it is going to cost me, to get an updated extension? do i need to contact someone via email or i will get the info here
