Yep, the free version shows absolute url. It is:

version 2.3.2
compatible with Joomla 1.0.x
by ARTIO s.r.o.
last updated on 4th February 2009

and exactly the same paid version:

version 2.3.2
compatible with Joomla 1.0.x
by ARTIO s.r.o.

and did you try to use latest version?
anyway, it seems to me that when you switch to paid version, something is not rewritten correctly, as the URLs are not SEF at all; make sure the permissions on all files and folders are correct (apache can write there) when installing the paid version

Thanks, but I thought this is latest version for Joomla 1.0. The permissions are all same on the server as it is the same server.

I don't know if it has something to do with that. But if I turn off the paid component I get a footer with an artio link on the end of the content.

latest version for Joomla 1.0.x is 2.3.4.
It seems, that the paid version detects some damaged file and thus SEO is not active.

I would recommend you to get the latest version and try to install from scratch.
