My customer is running Joomla 1.5.8 (working on upgrading it), Virtuemart 1.1.13, JoomSEF 3.2.9 and the Virtuemart extension 2.0.1. They are running PHP 4.? and MySQL 4.?.

They are dealing with Single and Bulk pricing by using two flypages, flypage_images.tpl for single unit pricing and flypage_bulk.tpl for bulk pricing. They want the SEF urls to be xxx.html for the single unit pricing and xxx Wholesale.html for the bulk pricing.

How should I go about doing this?

I expected that response and I will inform my client of the option.

I have modified the Virtuemart extension and I am writing redirects for the pages and the sef links are working. The issue I am having at the moment is that the links aren't showing up in the anchors. If you look at achristmasornament.com/2010-Music-at-the...-House-Ornament.html below the add to cart button is the 'Bulk Pricing Click Here' link which is anchored to the non-sef url. But achristmasornament.com/2010-Music-at-the...ament-Wholesale.html does bring up the correct page.

What is the magic incantation (or url formatting) that will make the sef url appear in the anchor.

Make sure that the "System - SEF" plugin is enabled and that you are using the latest version of JoomSEF (3.6.6) - the previous version had a problem with empty Itemid variable (as is the case with the achristmasornament.com/index.php?option=...t_id=184&Itemid= link). If you don't want to upgrade to the newest version, you may also disable the "Filter system variables" option in JoomSEF's Configuration on the Advanced tab.

Thanks, I will give those a try but tonight I have scheduled a Joomla upgrade.

Ok, online upgrade takes me to SEF V 3.4.2. When I attempt to upgrade the VirtueMart extension I get 'Provided Download ID is not valid for the requested file: ext_joomsef3_virtuemart.zip. Please, make sure you are using valid Download ID for this product. ()'. There is no place to insert a valid Download ID if I had on in this extension, V2.0.1.

Where do I get the System - SEF Plugin as I don't think we have it.

Also, I can't find the 'Filter system variables' in the current or the new configuration. Do you mean 'Filter variable values?'? Is that the built in Joomla SEF plugin which I do have enabled?

Hope all these edits don't cause you problems, some forums send email on initial submit but not the edits.
