JoomSEF showing Section news ignoring the menu cfg


> Problem is that we have a view of a section's posts, in the Joomla Menu admin we have disabled PDF icons etc, but JoomSef ignores this and still shows them. When we disable Joomsef the section displays correctly, with columns and no pdf icons etc..


Any ideas? Quite frustrating ..

Make sure, that the Itemid stored for the SEF URL that is being used for the section in question, matches the menu item ID. That is how the menu settings are loaded.
If it is different, or there is multiple records stored, use the "Activate" icon in URL Manager or update the Itemid stored there manualy to the needed one (corresponding with the menu item ID).

oh man. again. brilliant Jan. THANK YOU!!!

Solution: Click the SEF url in the JoomSef component, see if there is a ID number in the field, if not.. add it!
