Well can someone tell me why this is happening. I add 30 managed words and link the urls I wanted linked. It takes some time... If i make changes in sef or need to purge my sef urls it keeps my managed words but all my urls I linked them to are now gone.
Does this make sense? So is this the way it is suppose to be?
I understand that if the urls are purged they are gone but are regenerated. Is the only way to use this is be ready to relink urls or never purge urls?

The words are linked to URLs using their ID in the database. If we used the nonSEF URL to link the words, it would probably slow down the performance. But thank you for your suggestion, we'll test this and maybe reimplement this feature.
As regards purge the URLs - if you are happy with your URLs you have words linked to, you don't need to purge them. If there are only some URLs you want to fix, you can use the Manage SEF URLs page and delete only the URLs you want to be recreated.
