VM logout gives blank page

TOPIC: VM logout gives blank page

When a customer logs into my sire via the checkout and logs in then all is fine. But when the customer tried to logout they only get blank page. If I then select url to go to home page then sites is still in https. But as soon as a product is selected then site goes to http.
I looks like there should be a redirect for logout page but it is not working.
How can I set logout page?

Changed configuration.php file.
var $live_site = ''; This line originally had my http url but removing it has fixed the logout issue.
