TOPIC: VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension 2.0

VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension 2.0 15 years, 5 months ago #5665

Order No. 3506 for VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension 2.0.0 and 174 for 3 Months Membership - ARTIO JoomSEF

I am using Joomla 1.57 and JoomSEF v3.2.3 with Virtuemart 2.0 extension

When a client receives the invoice with the virtuemart 2.0 extension feature enabled the link to view order is not working.

A URL appears below like this:

index2.php/?page=order.order_print&o...uemart&Itemid=55

If I remove the extension it works fine and puts the hold address in correctly with the domain name.

I also noticed the same problem occurs for your own invoices.

"Thank you for your patronage.

View the order by following the link below."

Can you please let me know how this can be resolved.

regards
James

Is there chance of a reply on this issue. I need to know urgently as I have to take decisions to remove the software and escalate bad service to paypal.

An acknowlegement of the problem would have sufficed.

paying customer

Hello,
we have to check this issue closer.

We also cannot guarantee the extension works 100% for virtually any URL VM generates. Moreover, this problem may be caused by incorrect code in VM not in JoomSEF or the extension.

Hi!

I got the same error. Anything else seems to work so far. I'm still trying some things...

Best regards,
Acker

Hello,

we have investigated this problem and it is not related to JoomSEF, but to VM code.
to fix this, edit file

/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/ps_checkout.php
at lines 1806 and 1807.

The existing code:

$shopper_order_link = $sess->url('/'/ SECUREURL ."index.php?page=account.order_details&order_id=$order_id", true, false '');
$vendor_order_link = $sess->url('/'/ SECUREURL ."index2.php?page=order.order_print&order_id=$order_id&pshop_mode=admin", true, false '');

needs to be modified, by adding one more parameter with value true, so the result will be:

$shopper_order_link = $sess->url('/'/ SECUREURL ."index.php?page=account.order_details&order_id=$order_id", true, false, true '');
$vendor_order_link = $sess->url('/'/ SECUREURL ."index2.php?page=order.order_print&order_id=$order_id&pshop_mode=admin", true, false, true '');

This will however make the link in customer's email non-SEF.

If you want to hae it both SEF and functional, edit the file
/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/ps_session.php
at line 542 and edit it from:

if( $createAbsoluteURI && substr($appendix,0,4)!='http' && ($ignoreSEF || !$mainframe->getCfg('sef')) ) {

to

if( $createAbsoluteURI && substr($appendix,0,4)!='http' /* && ($ignoreSEF || !$mainframe->getCfg('sef'))*/ ) {

Hello Jan,

Thanks for your reply. I have tested but it never accepts the login after clicking the link. When we click after making the changes we do get the login, but it never accepts the users details. I have verified it many times.

Although I do believe you are on the correct track, can you please do the test and create an account and then test the link afterwards. I really do hope that you can help with this. Thank you for effort so far, looking forward to a solution as it will benefit the many.

Regards
James
