I wanted to ask how to render the shopper's tax code on the invoice as required by Italian law. thanks.

Hello. If your tax code is stored as Shopper's extra field, you can add it to address in VM Invoice General Config -> Customer Info Extra Fields. Optionally, you can insert it directly as tag, if you find it in Invoice Template -> Possible replacement fields.
