TOPIC: quote template & integration in virtuemart menu

quote template & integration in virtuemart menu 9 years, 10 months ago #44203

Hi Artio Team,

for my shop it would be very helpfull to have the change first to create a quote with corresponding template and later convert it to an invoice.

Also it would be very userfriendly to have your invoice solution integrated in the virtuemart core menu like other solutions do.

Thank you for this great component and looking forward for more improvements

Hello. You mean to have different template for quote and different for invoice? That can be possible, but it would be probably needed to be done as paid support. If I understand, quote is only different document for same order.

But there is current problem with VirtueMart (some users requested it already), that it does not suport payment (e.g. by paypal) of already placed orders. It only supports payment in time of placing order, at least with default installation. Maybe there are som plugins that supports payment after order was created (e.g. if created by admin), but we don't know about them.

As for integration with VM, we will think about that.

Hi there,

different templates for quote and invoice would be perfect. The invoice manager from joomlathat provides such a solution. And the Advanced Virtuemart Invoices component from cmsmart has already a virtuemart menu integration.

Those two features combined with your very sophisticated component would be perfect ;-)

After a very long search i found the FINALIZE ORDER PLUGIN from daycounts which allows you to pay later. Maybe this hint helps other users.

Thanks Peter
