Can anyone tell me how to use the new Order Note in the e-mail that is sent. Everything I have read seems to indicate this is possible but I just can not get it to work. I have used [%order_note%] as well as {order_note} in the e-mail template but it shows up exactly as above in the sent e-mail rather than what I have typed into the box. And yes, I have enable order notes selected in the general config. What am I missing?

I ended up sending an e-mail directly to Artio and got this issue solved. For those who may be looking at this with the same issue, here is the solution.

This functionality requires an updated Mootools. To do so, go into Plugin Manager under Extensions in Joomla. Find the plugin "System - Mootools Upgrade" and enable it.

That is all there is to it. Hopefully me passing this along will help someone else since Artio seems to be very hit or miss on their customer support forum on answering questions! They make great software but are understaffed and their tech support here on the forum is very lacking! They are pretty good but could be GREAT with better support.

I have been using VMInvoice for a couple of years now. It seems that every time a new update comes out, something gets broke! I can no longer delete items from an invoice! When I click on the delete button, nothing happens. I really wish you guy would make it possible to go back to the previous version. I only upgraded because I liked the new notes feature. I am still running J1.5.26 with VM 1.1.9. Any help would be appreciated.

I just upgraded to 2.0.18 from 2.0.17 and now, I can not add products to a newly created invoice/order. When I type in the sku, it comes up fine. I then select it and it gives me the option to choose the price. However, when I click the + sign to add it, nothing happens. The only thing showing up on the order is the shipping cost. Am I doing something wrong?

I depend on VM Invoice and should know to always download the installation files but I got lazy and trusted that everything would work and just clicked on upgrade from server. I need to either get this fixed ASAP or get access to 2.0.17 so I can roll back to the previous version. PLEASE HELP!

I have just started having problems with filtering orders or mass printing invoices. Everything was working fine on Friday and today, it no longer works. I have not upgraded or made any changes to my site since then. I am running 2.0.16 when this happened so I upgraded to 2.0.17 and that did not help. My site is running on Joomla 1.5.26. When I try to filter orders or select multiple invoices I want to print and then hit process, I get the following error message:

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

I contacted my hosting provider and they say they have not made any changes to the server or any software. Can you PLEASE advise on what I can check to troubleshoot this and get it working. VM Invoice has become a crucial part of my web business and without this functionality, I am really hurting!

I am able to still manually click on the pdf icon and view individual invoices and print them, I just can not do any mass changes.

Please advise!! Thank you.!

Maybe they are ignoring because I did not include my PHP, Joomla, and component version. Not sure what difference it makes with this type of question but here goes, just in case.

I recently upgraded from 1.17 to 2.0.5 and now 2.0.6 and the {order_status} tag is no longer working. I used it successfully in the previous version but now nothing at all shows up when I use that tag. Can you provide any help with this as this is critical for my invoices. Thank you.

It would be awesome if the field "Other Fee / Discount" label could be edited per invoice! I frequently take deposits on orders that are to be made and use that field to show the deposit paid as a credit (negative amount). I would love to be able to type in "Deposit Paid" or something similar in that label field and have it show up on the invoice. Possible?

I am not sure I would be so quick to blame it on Apple for not showing PDF's correctly! I use all kinds of different PDF files on my iPad all the time including complex house plans and never have any issues. Looks like it may be something TCPDF is doing.

Anyway, I did a little digging today and got it to work!! I installed the new Acrobat Reader app on my iPad and can now open the invoices in it just fine!
