Hi all,

I would like to understand the purpose of "Active link for SEF url" when editing an url. What's the difference between activating it or not?

Hi,
This function is explained in JoomSEF's documentation:
If there are some duplicate URLs (URLs with the same SEF URL but different Real URL) JoomSEF doesn't know which one of the Real URLs to use when the SEF URL is clicked. By making one of them Active, you tell JoomSEF which one it should always use.


So it's useful only if you have some duplicate SEF URLs.
