I use JoomSEF with my Joomla installation at root level.

My subdirectories x.mysite.com are static html pages using SSI to display adds. Each subdomain has its own .htaccess with inside:

AddType text/html .htm
AddHandler server-parsed .htm

It works fine with the Joomla basic SEF but not with JoomSEF.

I would appreciate if somebody can tell me how to modify the .htaccess at root level so it does not affect subdomains/subdirectories ....

Hello,

It is a difficult question I am asking !

As a result I will remove JoomSEF, everything works fine except this little glitch with the SSI. I am sure something easy can be done so the includes files can be read.
