Hi,

I updated Joomla & VM, installed a third-party checkout component and when i try to create a new order in VM invoice i get the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 2 by reference in /home/breumel/public_html/administrator/components/com_vminvoice/tables/vm2orderuserinfo.php on line 70

My VM invoice component does not want to update. I do have downloaded the latest version but manual update wont solve the problem if it's in the database and I'm affraid i will loose all settings and invoice lay-out if i reinstall the component.

Hello. Yes, it was a problem, but it was fixed in some previous VM Invoice version.

What is your VM Invoice update problem?
Reinstall is possible; if you uninstall the component and install again, your database should remain (database is not deleted on uninstall). But because the update scripts, upgrade is better. As mitk asked, what is your VM Invoice version?
