I have had email contact with makl several times and about two weeks ago he told me that this issue indeed was a bug and that you were going to resolve this in the next week (last week).

I have tried to contact several times but still didnt get a response on when this will be fixed.
I would really love to continue with my website but simply cant because this one small big in the invoice component is keeping me from going live.

So anyone knows when this will get fixed?

I did some more research. I guess this will have a simple sollution, as for the custom drop plugin the same ajustment was made.

The following was added there:

That actually worked! But only for one order.
Shipping tax is in every order. The problem is, my invoices are sent by mail to customers and my administration. So I cant remove that line for every order.

Isn't there a way to choose wether it is being showed or not, like all the other configurable things?

Same for me, I also have an unwanted shipping tax displayed. All checkboxes are set to no.
I only need the total tax, that value is the correct one.

Thanks for your reply. I understand this to some point.
But now you are just telling me your component isn’t fully compatible with virtuemart.
This is weird because the customer text input is a feature of virtuemart since the release of VM 2.0.

I have reported a bug in the custom dropbox before (see: www.artio.net/vm-invoice/vm-invoices-changelog (proper attribute title for Custom Field Dropbox Plugin) and www.artio.net/support-forums/vm-invoice/...ttribute-title#35554 ) For that one you guys made a good bugfix, so that one is working now.

you are right, component takes title from table virtuemart_order_items.
It's easier for us to do it like this, instead of joining more tables.
From this point it's "mistake" on VirtueMart side, because we are not responsible what do they generate to database.

But we can offer you a paid support and modufy some classes to work well for you.

In my database I did some digging,
It seems your component takes the tilte from the table virtuemart_order_items there I find the following:

As you can see for the textinput plugin there is stated comment.

I think the component should take the title from the table virtuemart_customs.

There you can see the custom title being what it should be.

Please? I cant really continue this way. I would really appreciate if someone could look into this.

I did some more digging myself. It looks like the word comment comes from the file plugins/vmcustom/textinput/textinput.php

It is pretty crucial for me that instead of comment the right title is displayed. Because now this is all what is keeping me from going live with my site.

Also in VM backend and order confirmation mails the title is displayed the right way.

That would be easy I know. I have checked again though and no, they all have a title, for instance the first article instead of comment the title is Naam.

Hello, first of all ive updated to the latest version 2.0.24

I use the custom text input for my products. Sometimes one field but also for some products several fields with all different titles.

The problem is, in the backend of virtuemart all seems to have the correct output.
But when I precess the invoice, some fields display like this:

Article title
comment :
comment :
comment :

So the custom text input title transforms into comment. What to do?

Also for some drop down filds it still displays custom_drop

First of all I wanna say, great plugin.
I have a question though. For some of my products I use a custom dropdown plugin. forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99678.0

This really works great for adding large drop downs everytime.

In the virtuemart backend the title of this custom plugin is correct.
But on the invoice I create it uses a different "title"

See an example in the attachement. The correct title is Letter instead of custom drop.
What can I/you do to fix this?

In relation to this above question I have another.

When the invoice is sent, I would like to invite my customers to write a review on a review site. I can do this manually by entering the customers emailadress to in the customer review system. But there also is an option for automatic invitation. This link has to be called:

www.reviewsite.com/set.php?user={user}&connector={connector}&action={action}&targetMail={targetMail}&
delay={delay}

The only important value is the {targetMail} wich has to be the buyers emailadress (to witch the invoice is also sent).

Can this link be triggered when an invoice is sent? Or can you pinpoint me in the right direction for modification of the script? Inother words, can you help me on this matter (willing to pay for it) or can you tell me what triggers the sending of invoices in your script.?

Hello, first of all, great component. Bought it yesterday and now up an running for 95%.
But i actually bought the component for the following:

Configurable order status, when invoice is generated and sent.

But how to do that? I have the following setup:

J2.5.6 VM2.0.14

When an order is placed and paid, the status is set to confirmed by virtuemart. Then your component triggers the invoice process. Invoice is made and sent. The next thing I would like to happen is this Configurable order status, when invoice is generated and sent.

So that the status will automaticly change to for instance "status:invoice sent".

How can I configure this?
