How to remove /blog from my content URLs?

JoomSEF keeps generatin category / section URLs ending with /blog. How can you remove the /blog part?
Go to JoomSEF / Manage Extensions / Content. In the extension settings, make sure that:
- Add layout is set to "only when different"
- Default layout is set to "blog"
After the configuration change, make sure to purge the existing affected URLs and clean cache. You can also use Update URLs function.
